I'm kind of in the eye of a storm--
I've been returned to GRRA because I'm terrified of thunderstorms. When the skies start rumbling, I need my people close by to help me feel safe and secure.
Other than that, I'm pretty much a dream dog. I'm calm, easygoing, and gentle with children. I enjoy being part of the family without demanding constant attention, and I'm happiest hanging out with my favorite humans.
I shared my life with a Chihuahua sidekick, and we got along just fine. While I'm friendly around other dogs, I don't spend much time playing with them—I usually prefer human companionship.
A short daily walk, a car ride, and some quality time with my people are all it takes to make me happy. I'm housetrained, don't require a crate, and have good manners around the house.
I've completed a couple of training classes and know my basics. Most of the time, I'm eager to cooperate—though now and then I like to remind everyone that I can be a little stubborn when the mood strikes!
My biggest challenge is my fear of storms. I need a family that understands that thunderstorms can be overwhelming for me and is willing to provide reassurance and comfort when they roll through.
After weathering a few storms in life, I'm hoping to find a calm, loving home where I can finally settle in and enjoy the sunshine. ❤️🐾
