My mom, Rosie, and I didn’t have a choice. Life has moved on, and our dad can’t care for us any longer, so GRRA is helping us find the best homes ever! 💕In case you're wondering, my mom is a Golden Retriever, and my dad is a Collie, hence my gorgeous black and white fur!
We’re going to look for separate homes now, as Rosie isn’t feeling well and is getting checked out by the vet.
As for me, at 3 yo, I’m a bit shy. I just wasn’t exposed to much of the world outside my fenced yard, so new experiences can make me a little skittish—especially other dogs and passing vehicles when we’re out walking. But I’m curious, and I’d love to learn all about life beyond my backyard! I can only imagine how much fun it will be to go on walks and adventures with my new family. 🐾
I’ve been keeping my outside room clean, so I shouldn’t take long to adjust to my new home and continue doing my business outside. I’ve been around kids and enjoyed playing with them, but I also appreciate having some quiet, chill time.
I may do especially well with a friendly, confident dog who can show me the ropes and help me feel comfortable now that I’m away from my mom. I don’t have a mean bone in my body—I’m simply a sweet, shy, curious girl who needs a little time and patience to blossom.
