I’m a very fortunate guy, and I’m so grateful that GRRA stepped in to care for me after I was left to survive on my own. Now I’m safe, and getting everything I need — including treatment for heartworms, which GRRA is already taking care of for me.
Over the next few months, I’ll need a calm, quiet home where I can rest and heal. My activity will need to stay limited, and I shouldn’t use many stairs during recovery. That can be a bit tough for a young, active pup like me, so I’ll really appreciate gentle mental enrichment and companionship to keep my mind engaged while my body recovers.
This is actually a great time for us to bond. We can work on basic manners, leash skills, and building trust together at a relaxed pace.
