I've recently found out that I have the dreaded heartworms, but the good news is that the wonderful people at GRRA have come to my rescue and will be taking care of my treatment.
For the next few months, I'll need a calm, quiet home where I can focus on getting healthy. Since my heart needs time to heal, it's very important that I stay relaxed and keep my activity level low. A family that's home more often than not and a home with few or no stairs would be just perfect for me.
Right now, I'd prefer to be your one and only pet so I can have a peaceful place to recover. I think I'd do well with older teenagers who understand that I'll need plenty of rest and gentle companionship.
The best part? While you're helping me through my recovery, we'll have lots of time to get to know each other. Who knows? By the time my treatment is behind me, you just might discover that life wouldn't be the same without me—and I'll already know I've found my forever family.I must stay
