I've recently found out that I have the dreaded heartworms, but the good news is that the wonderful people at GRRA have come to my rescue and will be taking care of my treatment.
For the next few months, I'll need a calm, quiet home where I can focus on getting healthy. Since my heart needs time to heal, I must stay relaxed and keep my activity level low. A family who's home most of the time and a home with few or no stairs would be the perfect place for me to recover. The best part? I absolutely love people and am happiest when I'm with my family!
While I'm healing, I'd do best in a peaceful home where I can be your one and only. Older children who understand that I'll need plenty of rest and gentle companionship would be wonderful, too.
Even though I need to take it easy, I still love being outside! A short stroll a few houses down the street or relaxing together at the park would feel like heaven to me. One of my favorite things is simply watching the world go by—people, kids, squirrels, birds, cars...I'm happy to sit beside you and take it all in.
The best part? While you're helping me through my recovery, we'll have lots of time to get to know each other. Who knows? By the time my treatment is behind me, you might discover that life wouldn't be the same without me—and I'll already know I've found my forever family.
