Right now, I’m going through heartworm treatment, which means I’ll need to stay quiet and calm for a few months in my new home. I’m hoping to find someone who is home more often and can help me keep my heart rate nice and low. I also can’t take many stairs during this time—slow and steady is the name of the game while I heal.
