Foster to Adopt

Location:
Responsibilities:

Purpose: To limit displacement from a warm loving home to as little time as possible. Dogs spending extended time in boarding or vet facilities has a detrimental effect on many displaced dogs. By approving applicants to join the FTA program we provide fully vetted families and homes to welcome a dog In need into their home with guidance and support of the FTA team on a daily basis.  It allows the rescue to monitor the dogs progress daily whether it be for medical, behavioral or general progress

  • Medical dogs

  • General obedience issues

  • Puppies

  • Anxious and scared

  • Regular owner surrender or shelter dogs

The Foster to Adopt team works with a given goal of perfectly matching an incoming Dog with a fully approved family and home. This allows the Dog to be GRRA vetted and move straight to a perfectly matched home for both the family and dog to get accustomed with each other and avoiding the need for a GRRA Volunteer foster home, boarding environment or staying at the vets.
