● Back up to the FTA Manager as an adoption consultant for FTA dogs

● Initiate and oversee/complete every aspect of finding several incoming dogs a Foster to Adopt applicant from our list of approved applicants that would be a good match (names are provided by the adoption consultant)

● Includes identifying applicants that might be a fit for a particular GRRA dog (and sometimes for dogs who are on the list waiting to be brought into our program)

● Explain the FTA program to the adoption applicant, relay information about the dog and determine if the adoption applicant would be interested in being an FTA for that particular dog

● Timing is critical and sometimes needs to be carried out on a day’s notice in order to determine whether or not a new dog can come into our program

● Training and familiarization will be provided; someone to help and mentor would always be available to assist

● This role would be to backup the Director/Manager of the FTA team

● Existing GRRA volunteer would be preferable and someone who is familiar with the adoption processes
