Hi, my name is Buddy. People tell me that as Golden Retrievers go, I am a very handsome boy. At six months I am very playful and have a high energy level. I am such a big boy for my age it can be easy to forget that I am still just a puppy. I love to have attention and play with other dogs and people. I have met some cats and I think they are ok. While I like other dogs, I love my toys, especially my stuffed dog and balls to play fetch. I love them so much that I am learning how to share my toys with others. Currently I am in school to work on my basic commands and following what my people ask of me. My teacher says I am doing well as I am a smart boy and very happy. I am eager to please since I love my people so much. I am looking for a family who will continue reinforcing what I have learned and provide the structure I need to be a happy, loving family member. I will need lots of exercise, and hoping to find an active family who likes to hike, run, walk or just play ball as much as I do. My trainer says that he will be happy to support my continuing education and that makes me happy as I love to learn. I know my forever home is waiting for me and cannot wait to show you all I can do.
