Suzie Blanchard

Director, Fosters

Suzie comes from a profession involving operating inns. Always a dog lover, her Golden rescue began in Virginia with a Golden-chow mix from the county animal shelter. Her first PB Golden proved to be the perfect Innkeeper dog, and she was hooked! Her GRRA involvement began as a foster and transporter, then she became manager of the Foster Team. Suzie started out as a foster for GRRA and eventually ended up as Coordinator/co-manager of the foster team. When an opening came up due to a resignation on the 2022 board, she became Director of the Foster Team and continues to serve as Director of Fosters for 2023
