You are invited to the year's biggest, most festive, and cherished GRRA™ event - the Rescue Romp! You can bring your humans too, so please join us on Sunday, September 19 at Blackburn Park from noon - 3 p.m.

What is the Rescue Romp?
Many years ago, the Rescue Romp started as a picnic where GRRA™ dogs, and their humans, came together to share stories of new beginnings in forever homes. Over the years the event has evolved into a fundraiser, a volunteer appreciation day, and so much more.

The Rescue Romp is an opportunity to catch up with familiar faces and snouts, a time to reflect on the past year's accomplishments, share stories about the laughter and joy these furry friends bring to our lives, spread awareness about our mission and goals, and show appreciation to our volunteers for all of their hard work!

There will be fun activities for the whole family: mom, dad, kids, and dogs (but please leave your feline friends at home) - food, doggie games, demonstrations, a Silent Auction, a Golden Store filled with must-have items, and a Golden Barkery where you can get gourmet dog treats!

This is a party where everyone is welcome - GRRA™ or not, Lab or Golden, dog or no dog. So, share this flyer with your family, friends, and colleagues so they can mark their calendars. Speaking of calendars, the 2011 GRRA™ calendar will be unveiled and on sale at the Rescue Romp. The calendars make excellent holiday gifts and supplies are limited.

The Rescue Romp is also our biggest fundraiser of the year, so remember to bring your checkbook or plenty of cash, to help us continue helping Golden Retrievers in need.
