Pinckneyville Park
When you get to
the complex, there is the soccer complex on one side of S. Old Peachtree
and a baseball/softball complex on the other. You want to go into the
baseball/softball complex side. They don't have the signs up for the
dog park yet, but follow the signs for the family pavilion. Before
entering the gated area of the pavilion you'll see skate board & roller
blade areas. Go into this parking lot and you'll see the dog park
straight back.
We've seen other
dog get togethers here, but not goldens & labs, so it would be fun to
meet & greet!
Picture an L
shaped park. The lower part of the L is "au natural" with trees & mulch
and a lot of shade. The rest of the park has trees along some of the
edge, with a mulch frame and sod entirely down the middle. A great
place to chuck it or launch a Frisbee.
Below find a
picture of Joey,
Bart & Jabot coming out of the "au natural" area of the park that they
enjoy exploring
and here's
a shot of Jabot & Cinnamon posing on the agility's dog walk, with a look
up the hill towards the entry to the dog park.
