Cochran Shoals

Cochran Shoals is part of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. We will be meeting at the kiosk in the main parking lot. There is a $3 dollar parking fee or a park pass is required.

The trail at Cochran Shoals is an easy 3 mile trail made of crushed gravel. About 2/3rd of the trail follows the Chattahoochee River (Sorry, there is no swimming for the dogs.), with most of it in the open, so wear a hat or bring sunscreen.  There are a couple of water fountains along the trail, but we still recommend you bring enough water for you and your four legged family member.
