The trail at Cochran Shoals is an easy 3 mile trail made of crushed gravel. About 2/3rd of the trail follows the Chattahoochee River (Sorry, there is no swimming for the dogs.), with most of it in the open, so wear a hat or bring sunscreen. There are a couple of water fountains along the trail, but we still recommend you bring enough water for you and your four legged family member. Directions
From I-285 East Take exit 22, Northside Drive, New Northside Drive, Powers Ferry Road. Go to second traffic light and go left onto New Northside Drive. Use “through” lane to pick up Interstate North Parkway. Unit will be .8 miles on the right after crossing the Chattahoochee.
