For those of you who would like to help with the dogs
but can't foster, being part of our Retriever Taxi Team may be
just the role for you.
We quarantine and vet dogs at clinics all over Atlanta and
need help moving them from these clinics to their foster
homes. Do you live or work near the following clinics?
North DeKalb Animal Clinic - Decatur
Huntington Creek - Fayetteville
Hudson Bridge - Stockbridge
South Cherokee- Woodstock
Murphyville - Rutledge
Sugar Hill - Sugar Hill
We need people who are willing to pick up the dogs during
the day or after work and drive them to a meeting place
convenient to where the foster lives or works. We can also
use assistance on Saturday mornings. If you can help,
please email us at Volunteer@grra.com
to tell us what day(s) of the week you are available and
which clinics are convenient for you. We will then contact
you when a dog in that area needs a ride.
We also are in need of temporary fosters for the
Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Temporary fosters will
substitute for existing fosters who are going out of town for
the holidays. On average, the temporary foster will have the
foster dog for a two week period. If you are available to
